UNT professor wins Technology Challenge Award
DENTON (UNT), Texas— University of North Texas College of Business Professor John Windsor received the Technology Challenge Award from the Association for Information Systems (AIS) at the 2012 International Conference on Information Systems.
The award was for leading an international faculty taskforce that assisted in the redesign of the organization’s website.
Founded in 1994, AIS is a professional organization whose purpose is to serve as the premier global organization for academics specializing in information systems.

UNT’s Innovation Greenhouse supports student ideas
DENTON (UNT), Texas--The Innovation Greenhouse, a new facility for University of North Texas students with ideas, is now open. Students with ideas from tech innovations to new businesses can visit the Innovation Greenhouse and find on- and off-campus resources to make their ideas come to life.

Two online programs ranked among nation’s best

Student awarded $10,000 scholarship from the Texas Business Hall of Fame Foundation
DENTON (UNT), Texas -- Phillip Davis of Greenville, S.C., a doctoral student in the University of North Texas’ College of Business, was honored as one of the top business students in Texas at the Texas Business Hall of Fame 30th Annual Induction Dinner in Houston last fall.
Davis plans to use his scholarship award to fund additional academic conferences to present his research in entrepreneurship and strategy.
The foundation annually awards one scholarship at each of the program’s current 19 participating Texas universities....
