UNT's Kristin Farmer Autism Center to host 5th Adventures in Autism Intervention and Research Conference
Parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder are eligible to apply for scholarships to attend the University of North Texas Kristin Farmer Autism Center's 5th Adventures in Autism Intervention and Research Conference on July 27 (Saturday).

DENTON, Texas (UNT) – A drum does more than make a sound. It can call your name or ask a question – and respond. In his new book, Agbadza: Songs, Drum Language of the Ewes, College of Music Professor Gideon Foli Alorwoyie explains the deeper meaning behind the music, lyrics and the language of the drums that the Ewes in Africa have developed for centuries.

UNT student, three alumnae join Dallas Cowboys hip-hop dance team
DENTON, Texas (UNT) – A love of dance – and the stamina to dance for hours on end – brought a University of North Texas student and three alumnae together to audition and ultimately make the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm and Blue hip-hop team.
The Dallas Cowboys, in partnership with Miller Lite, selected 17 women to represent them this season as the 2013-2014 Rhythm and Blue Dancers. The final squad was selected on June 7.
