Texas Gov. Rick Perry has said he will make an announcement on July 8 (Monday) regarding his “exciting future plans” in politics, which may or may not include a decision to run for an unprecedented fourth full term as governor, or seek another presidential bid.

Eshbaugh-Soha spoke to the media in 2012 about Perry’s unsuccessful run for the Republican presidential nomination.
