"Don Quixote" and classical Indian dance come together at UNT
What: A performance at the University of North Texas of an adaptation of Miguel de Cervante's famous story of Don Quixote, headed by Sheejith Krishna of the Sahrdaya Foundation. The performance stays rooted in the Indian classical style of Bharatanatyam, while at the same time using contemporary elements.

Faculty members available for comment on Congress' debate over Iran nuclear agreement
On Sept. 8 (Tuesday), both houses of Congress are expected to begin discussion over a resolution approving or rejecting the Iran nuclear agreement signed in July by the executive branch. Sen. Chuck Schumer has recommended a third option: renegotiating the agreement. The deadline for action is Sept. 17 (Thursday).

UNT's College of Music hosts 2015 American Liszt Society Festival Sept. 16-18
What: UNT's College of Music hosts the 51st annual American Liszt Society Festival: Liszt and Damnation. Guest artists from around the nation will join UNT faculty and students for performances and lectures celebrating the life, legacy and influence of one of the greatest composers in music history. One of the highlights of the festival will be a performance by UNT's Symphony Orchestra along with UNT faculty soloists, conducted by David Itkin.
