UNT's Giving Week fundraising initiative begins Sept. 14
DENTON (UNT), Texas -- The University of North Texas Giving Week, a 125-hour long fundraising campaign created to commemorate UNT's 125th anniversary, will begin Sept. 14 and end Sept. 19. The campaign is the first-ever in the university's history to span more than one day and to include all of UNT's constituents.

UNT sees record enrollment, welcomes 37,231 students
DENTON (UNT), Texas – The University of North Texas welcomed 37,231 students this fall, a record enrollment and a nearly 3 percent increase over the previous school year.
"This is our biggest enrollment boost in the past few years, and coupled with the notable growth in the quality, diversity and breadth of our student population, is a sign of important change and momentum," UNT President Neal Smatresk said. "It's clear that more students are making UNT their first-choice university."

For National Preparedness Month in September, experts at the University of North Texas are available for interviews to discuss ways families, communities and businesses can prepare for emergencies and natural disasters. DENTON (UNT), Texas – UNT's Print Research Institute of North Texas welcomes artist Susan Goethel Campbell for a residency Sept. 11 (Friday) through Sept. 18 (Friday). Goethel Campbell will produce a limited edition of prints that will be available through P.R.I.N.T's second annual Printmaker Subscription program, and, afterward, at market value. Four $28,500 scholarships awarded to UNT students from Dallas-based organization
DENTON (UNT), Texas -- Four master of public administration students at the University of North Texas are beginning their graduate education this fall with a $28,500 scholarship from the Hatton W.
