The University of North Texas College of Business is ranked 17th in the nation in U.S. News and World Report’s newly released list of 2014 Best Online Graduate Business Programs — rising from No. 20 in 2013. UNT offers an online Master of Business Administration degree program with concentrations in marketing, strategic management and finance.

Today, December 12, the University of North Texas System Board of Regents voted unanimously to name Dr. Neal Smatresk president of UNT, the flagship campus of the UNT System.

UNT will honor student creativity with the first-ever Sherman/Barsanti Inspiration Awards, made possible by a $350,000 gift from longtime UNT supporters Bob and Bette Sherman. UNT faculty and staff members can nominate students for the awards online through Feb. 1, 2014.

UNT Libraries has entered into an agreement with The Dallas Way, a nonprofit organization dedicated to gathering, storing, organizing and presenting the complete history of the city’s gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community, to ensure that current and future materials collected by the organization will be permanently archived, digitized and made accessible to the public.
