Aviation camp exposing high schoolers to aviation careers takes wing through UNT-TCC partnership
What: The Federal Aviation Administration is co-sponsoring the Aviation Career Education (ACE) Academy Program, a five-day, hands-on camp exposing 11th- and 12th-grade high school students to aviation and aerospace careers. Greg Watts named Dean of UNT's College of Visual Arts and Design
DENTON (UNT), Texas – Greg Watts, chair of the art department at the Metropolitan State University of Denver, has been named the new dean of the College of Visual Arts and Design at the University of North Texas.
"Greg Watts provides the creativity and leadership to continue the excellence of the College of Visual Arts and Design, which is one of the best art schools in the Southwest and the nation," said Finley Graves, interim provost and vice president for academic affairs at UNT.

UNT fashion design program receives $500,000 donation; will be named for alumnus Michael Faircloth
DENTON (UNT), Texas – UNT's College of Visual Arts and Design has received a gift in the amount of $500,000 that will assist in the enrichment and renaming of the already noted fashion design program as the Michael Faircloth Fashion Design Program.
