UNT TAMS student named 2015 Barry M. Goldwater Scholar
DENTON (UNT), Texas -- Vishnu Dantu, a second-year student in the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science at the University of North Texas, has been named a 2015 Barry M. Goldwater Scholar. UNT leads Texas universities in the number of Goldwater Scholars in math, science and engineering with 55 Goldwater Scholars named since 1996.

UNT faculty members blend different disciplines for exhibition, book about Mesa Verde
What: Scholars from a variety of disciplines will present their poetry, film, photography and essays from their fieldwork in the Mesa Verde region. Their writings have been compiled into the book Sushi in Cortez: Interdisciplinary Essays on Mesa Verde (University of Utah Press), edited by former UNT English lecturer David Taylor and UNT associate professor of geography Steve Wolverton.
