DENTON (UNT), Texas — Two University of North Texas sustainability projects received Green Ribbon Awards at the U.S. Green Building Council North Texas Gala.

UNT student named Collegiate Marketer of Year by DFW American Marketing Association
University of North Texas College of Business student Thomas Pemberton, a junior studying marketing, has been named DFW American Marketing Association Collegiate Marketer of the Year.
Winners were announced at an April 11 gala in Dallas.

Family pledges $1 million to UNT’s College of Business for study abroad scholarships
DENTON (UNT), Texas — Anne Milner Fields and her great nephew UNT alumnus Bryan Milner (’00) have pledged $1 million to UNT’s College of Business to endow scholarships for study abroad opportunities.
The gift is eligible to be matched with $1 million from Charn Uswachoke (’73 M.B.A.) as part of his historic $22 million gift to the university in 2011.
