When: Baccalaureate graduation ceremonies from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Dec. 11 (Friday) and 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Dec. 12 (Saturday).

Doctoral and master's graduation ceremony at 7 p.m. Dec 11 (Friday).

DENTON (UNT), Texas -- More than 3,000 students are expected to receive degrees from the University of North Texas during the fall 2015 commencement ceremonies, which will take place Dec. 11 and 12 (Friday and Saturday) on the UNT campus.

The undergraduate graduation ceremonies will be held from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Dec. 11 (Friday) and from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Dec. 12 (Saturday), and the ceremony for doctoral and master's degree candidates will be held at 7 p.m. Dec. 11 (Friday). This fall, 2,495 undergraduate students, 591 master's students and 78 doctoral students applied for graduation.

Additionally, this summer, 996 undergraduate, 375 master's and 116 doctoral students received degrees from UNT. Some of them will participate in the fall graduation ceremonies.

Dec. 11 will feature the undergraduate ceremonies for:

• College of Education at 9 a.m. inside the UNT Coliseum at 600 Avenue D
• College of Information at 9 a.m. inside the Murchison Performing Arts Center at 2100 North Interstate 35 East
• College of Public Affairs and Community Service at 1 p.m. inside the UNT Coliseum
• College of Music at 4 p.m. inside the Murchison Performing Arts Center
• College of Engineering at 4 p.m. inside the UNT Coliseum

Dec. 11 will also feature the graduate ceremony for:

• Doctoral and master's graduates at 7 p.m. inside the UNT Coliseum, with a reception to follow in the UNT Gateway Center at 801 North Texas Blvd.

Dec. 12 will feature the undergraduate ceremonies for:

• College of Arts and Sciences at 9 a.m. inside the UNT Coliseum
• College of Business at 1 p.m. inside the UNT Coliseum
• College of Visual Arts and Design; College of Merchandising, Hospitality and Tourism; and Frank W. and Sue Mayborn School of Journalism at 5 p.m. inside the UNT Coliseum
