Two University of North Texas students were one of the top-three finalist teams to compete in one of the retail industry’s biggest events of 2017, the National Retail Federation BIG Show.

WWI poetry exhibit

The horror of World War I altered the world for generations. Now the University of Texas Libraries Special Collections is offering a glimpse of the poetry inspired by the Great War.

U.S News and World Report has named the University of North Texas College of Education online graduate education program one of the best in the nation. UNT was ranked No.16 out of 275 schools listed. The program rose from a No.124 ranking last year.

University of North Texas officials will break ground at 1 p.m. Jan. 24 (Tuesday) on a new four-story, 128,354-square-foot addition for the College of Visual Arts and Design, bringing many of its programs together in one place.

The research, which will involve nurses at Denton Regional Medical Center, will determine links between sleep deprivation and immune response to flu vaccines. 

The annual event brings together UNT alumni, faculty and staff members and community leaders who are experts on certain topics, for an evening of stimulating discussions in small groups.
