DENTON (UNT), Texas ¾ Fourteen master’s of fine arts studio art candidates from the University of North Texas College of Visual Arts and Design will participate in the first Interlude exhibition to be held in partnership with the Greater Denton Arts Council.

“Interlude refers to the space between,” said Lauren Lake, department chair of studio art. “In this case, we are marking the transition from second year to third year MFA studio art candidates. It’s a moment to reflect on the research and production of students’ first two years and propel them into their final semesters. This experiential learning is part of a series of co-curricular programs in the college and department to engage students in professional discourse.”

The exhibition will feature ceramics, drawing and painting, fibers, metalsmithing and jewelry, photography and sculpture from the following master’s of arts studio art candidates:
