UNT Decision Sciences scholar awarded for lifetime achievement
University of North Texas Regents Professor Victor Prybutok was recently awarded the 2018 Decision Sciences Institute’s Lifetime Distinguished Educator Award.
Prybutok, Vice Provost for Graduate Education and Dean of the Toulouse Graduate School, received the award for exceptional contributions to teaching and learning in the disciplines of decision sciences over the course of a career. During his time in higher education, Prybutok has published over 200 journal articles and given more than 300 presentations worldwide.

The Newman Foundation creates fund to support TAMS student researchers
The Newman Foundation has pledged $100,000 to the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science (TAMS) at the University of North Texas, a Carnegie-ranked Tier One research university.
The gift, which is the largest pledge in the program’s history, will create The Newman Foundation TAMS Endowment Fund for Undergraduate Research, a permanent fund to support vital research-enhancing activities for TAMS students.

UNT set to co-host international US-China Smart Education Conference in March 2019 in Denton
