BACKGROUND:

UNT Theatre continues its 2020-2021 season with a production of William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, a play about love, gossip and the chaos that can ensue from their combination.

Directed by Sarah Rutan, an adjunct faculty member of theatre, the production will be performed virtually by Department of Dance and Theatre students via Zoom.

“We are setting this production in the zany world of the early 1970s with the television shows and characters that inhabited that time. Sit back for two hours of love gone right, gone wrong and all the mayhem these lively and colorful characters create,” Rutan said.
