DENTON (UNT), Texas -- Keegan Arnold, a Sculpture Studio major at the University of North Texas and committee chair for Fear Factory Insanitarium, has been helping to spook North Texans for seven Halloween seasons at the annual haunted house. The Insanitarium is open to the public Friday and Saturday nights through Nov. 2 (Saturday). The haunted house is put on by Lakeside Community Theatre.

Arnold took on designing the Insanitarium in 2008, transforming it from a goofy fundraiser to a terrifying haunted house. This year, the Fear Factory Insanitarium is the larger than ever before. The Insanitarium requires participants to be actively involved. Arnold designed the haunted house to combine obstacles and actors to create a frightening experience, taking the haunted house experience away from a museum like atmosphere to more of a set of a horror movie.

Arnold is available for interviews. Please contact Margarita or Natalie by phone at 940-565-3510 or by email at Margarita.Venegas@unt.edu or Natalie.Caballero@unt.edu for more information.
