Background: The discussion and interviews will focus on the continually-changing consumer buying behaviors.

Organizers say the idea is to provide a platform where retail professionals and future retail talent can have an interactive dialog on the current complexities, challenges and evolving consumer behaviors that are being influenced by the adoption of technology into the shopping experience.

Speakers: The conversation will be led by Phill Oaks, group general manager and officer at Walmart Global eCommerce, including its Jet.com, Moosejaw and Hayneedle acquisitions.

Oaks will be joined by Judith Forney, an expert and academic thought leader who focuses her research in the areas of consumer experience and the customer purchasing journey. Forney is also a UNT professor and director of research for UNT’s digital retailing research center.
