UNT political science professors available to comment on midterm elections

DENTON (UNT), Texas – Political science professors in the University of North Texas College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences are available to offer in-depth analysis of the midterm elections including, but not limited to, topics such as:

  • U.S. Senate race in Texas and other races
  • how shifts in political power can impact the legislature and presidency
  • voter turnout
  • race/gender/age in politics including the impact of Latinx and young voters in this election cycle
  • religion and politics

    UNT also will be hosting an Election Watch Party for students from 6 to 11 p.m. Nov. 6 (Tuesday) in Room 333 of the University Union located at 1155 Union Circle in Denton. The event is hosted by the UNT Student Government Association and the University Program Council.
