UNT’s affordability recognized on national list

The University of North Texas has been recognized on the 2013 Affordable Colleges Online list of the “Most Affordable Large Public Colleges”.

Affordable Colleges Online lists 100 universities that the editors of the site selected after a review of data provided by the National Center for Education Statistics, the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System and the Carnegie Foundation.

Additional criteria included:

  • 25,000-80,000 students
  • Tuition less than $15,500
  • 4-year school
  • Public
  • Non-profit

Affordable Colleges Online provides prospective students with information about affordable college options, financial aid and cost saving tips. A complete list of all the schools recognized can be found online.

In September 2012, The Princeton Review recognized UNT as one of 122 institutions on its “Best in the West” list. In June 2012, UNT’s College of Business was ranked among the Top 25 best value online MBA programs in the United States by Business MBA.
