Press passes available for Condoleezza Rice event

What: Condoleezza Rice, Stanford University professor of political science and 66th U.S. Secretary of State, will speak April 16 (Tuesday) as part of the University of North Texas Distinguished Lecture Series.

Where: UNT Coliseum, 600 Avenue D, at the southeast corner of North Texas Boulevard and Highland Street.

Schedule: Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Rice’s speech will begin at 8 p.m.

Media Credentials: Credentials can be reserved by contacting Leslie Wimmer at Leslie.Wimmer@unt.edu or 940-565-4835. Credentials can be picked up at Gate B of the Coliseum beginning at 6:30 p.m. April 16.

Credentials must be reserved by 5 p.m. on April 15 (Monday)

 Media Instructions:

  • Rice will not be available for interviews.
  • No flash photography.
  • Videographers/photographers should be as unobtrusive as possible and limit movement as to not cause distractions.
  • Video (for b-roll) and photography permitted for the first 10 minutes of the event only.
