What: “Technology in Logistics” — The University of North Texas' Annual Logistics Scholarship Breakfast, hosted by Southwest Airlines.

UNT hosting SatieRicon festival
DENTON (UNT), Texas ― The University of North Texas Institute for Advancement of the Arts, along with the College of Music, are presenting SatieRicon: Erik Satie at 150, a festival exploring the music of the late French composer and pianist. Events include:
- 8 p.m. Oct. 11 (Tuesday) – “Satie the Mystic” with a pre-concert talk at 7 p.m. Both events will be held in UNT’s Merrill Ellis Intermedia Theater located in the Music Building at 415 Avenue C, Denton.

UNT Collab Lab kick-off event to feature Steely Dan's Jeffrey Baxter
DENTON, Texas (UNT) ― A kick-off event for the UNT Collab Lab, “From Steely Dan to Cybersecurity: Asymmetrical Thinking in a Hyper-Connected, Collaborative World,” will take place Nov. 10 on Level 3 in the University Union, 1155 Union Circle.
"The Collab Lab will be at the intersection of technology and creativity," said Michael Monticino, special assistant to the UNT president. Mean Greens, first all-vegan university cafeteria, celebrates 5th anniversary
DENTON, Texas (UNT) — What began as a way to satisfy the growing demand for more healthful food options at the University of North Texas blossomed into the country’s first all-vegan university dining hall.
And now, Mean Greens Café will celebrate its 5th anniversary on Oct. 14 (Friday) with a vegan feast, complete with live music, entertainment, games and more.
Since it opened, Mean Greens Café has won national recognition for UNT, including an “A” rating from animal advocacy group peta2, which said UNT goes “above and beyond to provide all students with exceptional vegan food.”...
