DENTON (UNT) -- The University of North Texas recently celebrated its 125th birthday and now one proud alumna is celebrating her 100th. Mabel Dickinson (formerly Beckett) was born on July 28th, 1916. She graduated from UNT in 1955 with a bachelor's degree in library service and in 1968 with a master's in library services.
She went on to spend nearly 40 years as a public school librarian, but still to this day she often tells stories of her time here at UNT.
