Writer Roxane Gay to Speak at UNT Sept. 5

One of the nation’s most popular writers and cultural critics is coming to the University of North Texas.
Gay is the author of several national bestselling books, including her memoir “Hunger: A Memoir of My Body” and a collection of essays, “Bad Feminist,” as well as the novels “Untamed State” and “Ayiti.” She is a frequent contributor to “The New York Times,” has written for the “World of Wakanda” series for Marvel and edits “Gay Magazine” on medium.com. She co-hosts the podcast “Hear to Slay” with writer Tressie Millan Cottom and leads a book club on “Vice News.”
