When JunNk performs at the University of North Texas Nov. 6 (Tuesday), it will transform a junkyard into an aural and visual feast. The group takes offbeat objects – such as bottles and a PVC tube – and transforms them into instruments, while doing acrobatic stunts and telling jokes. It turns in its own offbeat versions of such songs as “Seven Nation Army” and “Hit Me Baby One More Time.” The group is based in the United Kingdom and won the “Spirit of the Fringe” award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2016.
