Received a National Science Foundation grant for curricula development in engineering technology. Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the American Society for Engineering Education, and member of the board of directors of the Engineering Technology Leadership Institute. Holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics, a master's degree in natural science, and a doctorate in higher education from Oklahoma State University.
