Member of the Society for Neuroscience, the International Brain Research Organization, the World Federation of Neuroscientists, and the New York Academy of Sciences. Has published more than 40 papers and abstracts and has consulted for the Rockefeller University and for Baylor University Medical Center. Recent research includes the study of the effects of experience on the brain. Holds a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Chicago, a master's degree in psychology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a doctorate in neurosciences from the University of California at San Diego.
