Recent projects include the development of new instruments to measure teachers' attitudes toward computers and computer-mediated communication. Authored Children and Computers in Schools. Is co-chair of the International Committee of the International Society of Technology in Education and a member of the executive committee of the Electronic Networking Special Interest Group of the American Educational Research Association. Holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and social science from Dartmouth College, and a master's degree and doctorate in educational psychology from the University of Hawaii.
