DENTON (UNT), Texas -- Continuing speakers in the 2014-2015 University of North Texas Distinguished Lecture Series lineup include Maria Hinojosa, investigative journalist; General Wesley Clark, former NATO supreme allied commander; Ta-Nehisi Coates, writer, author and educator; and Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, founders of Ben & Jerry’s Homemade, Inc.
- Hinojosa will speak at 8 p.m. Nov. 17 (Monday) in UNT’s Auditorium Building, located at 1401 W. Hickory St. Tickets are on sale now.
- Clark will speak at 8 p.m. Feb. 4 (Wednesday) in UNT’s Auditorium Building, located at 1401 W. Hickory St. Tickets go on sale January 11.
- Coates will speak at 8 p.m. March 12 (Thursday) in UNT’s Auditorium Building, located at 1401 W. Hickory St. Tickets go on sale February 19.
- Cohen and Greenfield will speak at 7 p.m. April 9 (Thursday) in UNT’s Murchison Performing Arts Center, located at 2100 N. I-35E. Tickets go on sale March 23.
The Distinguished Lecture Series program introduces the UNT community to the excellence of world-class speakers whose messages enhance student learning outside the classroom. Previous speakers include President George W. Bush, Condoleezza Rice, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., John Legend, Bill Nye, George Takei, Steve Wozniak, Rainn Wilson and Vicente Fox.
