UNT’s Innovation Greenhouse hosting Big Picture Idea Competition
DENTON (UNT), Texas -- University of North Texas students are invited to participate in a Big Picture Idea Competition hosted by UNT’s Innovation Greenhouse.
Students participating will use video to tell a story of creativity in the North Texas region, and winners can receive prizes of up to $500 as well as internships with Big Picture Idea.
Nancy Hong, executive director of the Innovation Greenhouse, will host an information session on the contest at 3 p.m. March 22 (Friday) in the Innovation Commons on the first floor of Sycamore Hall. Applications are due by March 29 (Friday).
“The competition will help students gain experience in storytelling, producing, reporting and video editing,” Hong said. “Students from any major can participate.”
The winning videos will be published on http://bigpictureidea.com/, a community web publication covering technology, innovation and creative stories across the North Texas region.
