Registration opens March 18 for UNT Elm Fork Education Center’s 2013 summer camps

DENTON (UNT), Texas -- Registration opens March 18 (Monday) for the 2013 Elm Fork Education Center’s summer camps at the University of North Texas. The 2013 camps run from June 17 (Monday) through July 19 (Friday).

The camps are open for children in second through eighth grades. Explorer’s camps are weeklong, half-day sessions focusing on science. Explorer’s camps meet from 8 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday. Discovery Camp extends from noon to 6 p.m. for a full day experience including recreation, arts and crafts.

Attendees will explore science topics including archaeology, physics, technology, geology, astronomy, chemistry, environmental science and forensics.

Prices range from $100 to $130.
