Press passes available to Ben and Jerry speech, ice cream social at UNT April 9

What: Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, founders of Vermont's famous Ben & Jerry's Homemade Inc., will speak about sustainability and entrepreneurism at UNT April 9 (Thursday) as part of the University of North Texas Distinguished Lecture Series. Audience members are invited to an ice cream party after the speech.

Where: UNT's Murchison Performing Arts Center, located at 2100 North I-35E in Denton

Ticket info: Student tickets are free and student guest tickets are $5. All student tickets should be picked up in person at the Murchison Box Office, which is open 1-5 p.m. Monday–Friday. UNT faculty, staff and alumni tickets are $15, tickets for the public are $20. UNT faculty, staff and alumni and general public tickets can be purchased online.

Schedule: Doors will open at 6 p.m., speech will begin at 7 p.m.

Media Credentials: Credentials can be reserved by contacting Leslie Minton at Leslie.Minton@unt.edu or 940-565-4835. Credentials can be picked up at the Murchison Performing Arts Center beginning at 6 p.m.

Credentials must be reserved by 5 p.m. on April 8 (Wednesday)

  • Photography and videography are permitted for the first five minutes of the event only.
  • An audio feed will be available for the first five minutes of the event only.
